Amy Becker LaFrance, MPH

Ms. LaFrance coordinates the collection, review and dissemination of the Promising Practices: Pandemic Influenza Preparedness Tools online database, as well as the CIDRAP activities for the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials' (ASTHO) At-Risk Populations Project, which created and supports national guidance on at-risk populations and pandemic influenza planning. She received her MPH from the University of Minnesota in 2006 in public health policy and global health. Ms. LaFrance has worked at CIDRAP since 2004, including as a staff writer and as co-coordinator for a university pandemic influenza planning conference. She conducted her graduate fieldwork in global influenza policy.

Ms. LaFrance has a journalism and French degree and worked professionally as a newspaper reporter and copy editor from 1993 through 2004.
